We lingered through balmy, golden days and juicy peach sunsets followed crisply by the full moon. Not just any moon but Waatebagaa-giizis, or the leaves-changing-color moon to the Ojibwe, our daughter-in-law Neely and grandchildren’s heritage. No wolves competed with the loons for nightly vocals and, sigh, no northern lights.
